Board Certified Behavior Analyst ( BCBA )

Board Certified  Behavior Analyst (BCBA)  provides physician ordered school, home, and community-based therapy support services.  Children and adults with developmental disabilities are the primary population supported by the Board Certified  Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  The Board Certified  Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides an assessment for the consumer along with the development of a plan of care and ensures the implementation of the plan.  The Board Certified  Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assists with the development of intervention strategies that assist the consumer with attaining his/her outcome(s).

Responsibilities

  • Providing services in a timely manner (within 30 days) and only upon the receipt of Services Authorization

  • Complete Service Requests

  • Draft,  implement, and train on Behavior Support Plan 

  • Complete Service Summary of services for each visit (Daily note log)

  • Monthly Progress Summary (graphs and notes) 

  • Collaborate with school personnels and medical professionals

  • Attendance at the consumer’s  meeting when requested

  • Regular correspondences with parents when applicable. 

  • Any other responsibilities assigned by their supervisor

Requirements

  • BACB Certification

  • Valid Driver License

  • Continuing Education

  • Malpractice Insurance

  • Pass Background check

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • Crisis Training

Hours Available

  • 11am-4pm Mon Wed Thurs

  • 12-5pm Tues Wed Thurs

  • 12-3pm Mon-Fri
